Urinary incontinence represents a serious social, medical and economic problem, which suffers progressive increase, due to the increase in life expectancy that health cultural advances have achieved. It is estimated world there are approximately two hundred million people urinary with great impact of importance can exceed coverage forecasts different systems care services. Our group from Department Physiology UCM has been studying physiology lower tract (LUT) for several years order determine neurotransmitters receptors regulate these structures. This greater knowledge Pathophysiology LUT allowed dysfunctions be corrected pharmacological methods compared traditional alternative surgery.
